FEMPOWR Spring Program:
Knowing Your Value: Defining Your Brand: Building Your Voice
Tuesday: June 1-June 3, 2021
Chair: Jane Southren, Jane Southren Consulting
Dear Female Engagement and Mentorship for Practitioners of Waterloo Region (FEMPOWR) Members,
Do you want to uncover your unique value and learn how to apply it with intention and discipline to elevate your career - and your life?
We’re excited to announce our FEMPOWR Spring Program: Knowing Your Value: Defining Your Brand: Building Your Voice, designed to support women in law identify and use their unique value to take their professional (and personal) life to the next level.
Building value is something we all do throughout our lives and careers - often without knowing how or necessarily what exactly our true value is. When we focus on knowing our value, we can speak to it, live it, be it, and in doing so, elevate our careers, and our lives.
This exciting series is presented by Jane Southren Consulting and will consist of three 30-minute sessions, over three consecutive days:
- Tuesday, June 1 – 9:30 a.m.-10:00 a.m.;
- Wednesday, June 2 - 9:30 a.m.-10:00 a.m.; and
- Thursday, June 3 - 9:30 a.m.-10:00 a.m.
In the sessions, you’ll learn and be coached around the Unique Value you bring to your clients and colleagues, communities and firms, and why it matters in building a business at any career stage, and within any context (eg in house, private practice, within industry). You’ll then be guided in how you can start to use your sense of your value to intentionally craft your personal brand, and evolve your professional identity and voice, giving yourself the tools to effectively communicate the value you’ve identified in a way that supports your professional aspirations.
We hope you’ll join us for this informative, engaging series!

About Our Sponsor:
At Jane Southren Consulting, our practice and programming are built upon a foundation of helping professionals build careers that they love, that are filled with the work they want to do, and populated with people they want to do it with and for. And we do that by introducing our clients to the Domains of Mastery that we believe underlie all successful and satisfying careers; careers that provide a sense of well-being, filled with strong relationships, both with others, and with oneself. These domains are: Relationship Mastery, Purpose Mastery, and Personal Mastery, and we look forward to introducing you to them in this series, designed exclusively for WRLA members and their guests.
